Welcome to the hiking route to Kutarroko urmaela in the beautiful area of La Herradura near Donostia / San Sebastián. This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 2.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 73 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will find a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before setting off for the hike. Just a short distance away, about 1.42 kilometers into the trail, you will come across a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks while surrounded by nature.

Continuing along the path, at around 1.42 kilometers, you will find a water source perfect for refilling your bottles and staying hydrated during the hike. Additionally, there is a historic castle called Kutarro gotorlekua nearby, adding a touch of local history to your adventure.

As you approach the midway point of the trail, at 1.26 kilometers, you will encounter an information point where you can learn more about the surroundings and plan the rest of your hike accordingly. Further along, at 1.28 kilometers, there is another information point with valuable insights about the area.

Near the end of the trail, at 1.36 kilometers, you will find another information point to wrap up your hiking experience. Just before you finish the route, at 0.85 kilometers, there is a spot called Collado de Soraburu providing a scenic view of the surroundings.
