Welcome to the hiking route to Grinches de Tòrt! This 11.93-kilometer route is considered difficult due to the 674 meters of elevation gain, so make sure you are prepared for a challenging hike.
Starting at the parking area, you will head out on an out-and-back trail that will take you through stunning natural surroundings. Along the way, you will come across multiple water sources, such as streams and rivers, that can be found at various points along the trail. These water sources are perfect for refilling your water bottle, but be sure to bring enough water with you as well.
About 5.97 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source that is very close to the trail, making it convenient for a quick rest stop. As you continue on, you will encounter more water sources at different distances from the trail, providing opportunities to take in the peaceful sounds of flowing water.
At around 1.7 kilometers into the hike, you will find a shelter called Cabana Basses de Rius, located a bit further off the trail. This could be a great spot to take a break and enjoy some snacks while taking in the scenic views.
Additionally, at the beginning of the hike, you will pass by an alpine hut called Cabana de Rius, which could serve as a great resting point if needed.
As you progress on the trail, you will be treated to informative signs that can enhance your hiking experience, providing interesting details about the area.
