This challenging hiking route in the Barraca de Rius area covers a distance of approximately 9.93 kilometers with an elevation gain of 674 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is around 4 hours.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by a parking area situated right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across an alpine hut called Cabana de Rius, located just 0.06 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.

Further along the route, at approximately 1.7 kilometers from the start, there will be a water point near the trail for hikers to replenish their supplies. As you continue your journey, you will encounter another water point at around 4.97 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 1.41 kilometers from the start, you will find Cabana Basses de Rius, another shelter where you can rest and take in the serene environment.

Towards the end of the trail, just 0.06 kilometers from the start, an information point is located, providing insights into the surrounding area and its history.
