Located in the picturesque region, this challenging hiking route will take you on a 9.5 km journey with an elevation gain of 1011 meters. The trail starts at a convenient parking area and heads towards the stunning Lac Noir, a beautiful natural water feature located 4.27 km from the start of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by other water sources like Lac Carré and various information points that provide useful insights about the area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Col de la Vieille, a scenic saddle point that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to take a break at the picnic site nearby to refuel and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the Cabane du Lac Carré, a wilderness hut where you can rest and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. The final stretch of the hike will take you to the Pic de la Belle Étoile, where you can marvel at the stunning scenery before heading back the way you came.
