Welcome to the Leiterliweg hiking route! This trail offers a picturesque and moderately challenging outdoor experience in the beautiful surroundings of the area.

Along the 3.379 kilometers route with an elevation gain of 284 meters, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Hotel Bänklialp, a cozy mountain accommodation where you can rest and refuel. Nearby, there is also a shelter for hikers to take a break or seek shelter if needed.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by a BBQ spot and several benches, perfect for taking in the scenic views and enjoying a picnic. Be sure to visit the Bänklialpkohlbrücke, an interesting cultural point along the way.

Further along the route, you'll find more benches and another shelter called Salon-Alp, providing convenient resting spots for hikers. Additionally, there are informational points and a wayside shrine to explore, adding a touch of history and culture to your journey.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there is a free flying site for paragliding called Gleitschirm Landeplatz Obere Erlen, offering a unique aerial perspective of the area.
