The hike begins at a parking area located approximately 3.3 kilometers away from the starting point. As you make your way along the trail, about 3.3 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Bergrestaurant Bywaldalp, where you can refuel with some sustenance before continuing your journey. Further along the path, at around 6.72 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point for tourists to gather more insights about the surrounding area.

As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at approximately 6.95 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gitschenhörelihütte alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.
