This challenging hiking route to Kleine Gamswiesenspitze offers stunning views and historic landmarks along the way. Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area before venturing into the scenic landscape. As you make your way through the path, you will come across Marcherstein, a historic memorial just 3.35 kilometers from the start.
Around 0.6 kilometers in, you will find a drinking water station to refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at 1.18 kilometers, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail at 1.49 kilometers, you will encounter Gedenkkapelle, a wayside shrine with significant historical relevance.
As you approach the midway point of the hike, at 2.7 kilometers, there is another bench for resting and taking in the views. At 3.38 kilometers, you will find an information point followed by another one at 3.3 kilometers to learn more about the area.
