Welcome to the Monte Giuep hiking route, a challenging and extremely difficult 14.558-kilometer circular trail with a total elevation gain of 1201 meters.

The trail starts at a convenient parking area located right at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you'll come across an information point providing insights about the area and the hike itself. This spot is located approximately 1.04 kilometers from the starting point, making it a great resource to gather any last-minute information before hitting the trail.

As you continue along the path, you'll encounter a refreshing drinking water fountain, named Fontana, which can be found at the beginning of the hike around 0.0 kilometers from the start. It's always a good idea to fill up your water bottles here to stay hydrated throughout the challenging trek.

About 1.89 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach a shelter called Capanno, providing a nice rest spot with a distance of 8.686 kilometers from the trail. This can be a good place to take a break, catch your breath, and enjoy the surrounding views.

At 6.67 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the peak of Monte Giuep, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. This can be a rewarding spot to take in the beauty of the surroundings and capture some memorable photos.

Halfway through the journey, at approximately 6.45 kilometers from the start, you'll arrive at Col de Rubren / Colle Giuep, a saddle point along the trail. This part of the hike offers a unique vantage point and a great spot to take a breather before continuing on.
