This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Mont Ruine / Monte Ruine in the beautiful area of Caserma Vallo Alpino. The trail spans 23.915 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2571 meters, making it a challenging adventure that will take approximately 11 hours and 57 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, just 0.02 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Grand Belvédère du Mont Viso, offering stunning views for you to enjoy. Continuing on, at around 5.95 kilometers from the start, you will reach Caserma Vallo Alpino, known for its historic ruins.

Midway through your hike, at approximately 7.32 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter where you can take a rest and refuel before continuing your journey. Further along the trail, you will come across the Col de Soustre at 5.1 kilometers from the start, offering a natural saddle for you to explore.

As you approach the endpoint of the trail, around 11.96 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Mont Ruine / Monte Ruine, where you can revel in the stunning panoramic views from the summit.
