Welcome to the Märzengrund hiking route, a challenging and extremely difficult 12.076-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1100 meters.

Located in a stunning natural area, this hike offers breathtaking views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking options for your convenience. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take approximately 5 hours and 32 minutes to complete.

As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several water sources, both on and off the trail, where you can rest, refill your water bottle, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will come across the peaks of Standkopf and Hamberg, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way back, you will find informative signposts providing insight into the natural and cultural significance of the area.
