This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking landscapes around Hennenkopf. The trail covers a distance of approximately 12.742 kilometers with a challenging elevation gain of 838 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous yet rewarding hike that will take around 5 hours to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the "Parkplatz Linderhof" parking area, located just 0.03 kilometers from the starting point. Along the way, at around 3.78 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the "Maximiliansweg E4 Lindau Berchtesgaden" information point where you can learn more about the area.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.2 kilometers, you will encounter a stunning natural rock formation. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings before continuing on towards the "Hennenkopf" peak, located at 6.26 kilometers from the start.

As you make your way back, around the 3.23 kilometer mark, you will find the "Brunnenkopfhütte" biergarten where you can rest and refuel. Further along the trail, at the 5.59 kilometer mark, there is another information point to explore.

For an added treat, towards the end of the hike, at 6.13 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point where you can learn more about the area's history and significance.
