This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Hochblasse. The trail is 9.077 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 849 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 13 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Ammerwald-Alm restaurant, located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink before you begin your ascent. About 4.17 kilometers along the trail, you will reach Roggentalsattel, a picturesque saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views.
Continuing on, you will pass by the informative signage at the 2.56 kilometer mark, providing you with interesting facts about the area. As you make your way towards the peak, you will eventually reach Hochblasse, standing tall at 4.54 kilometers into the hike. From here, you can take in breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape.
For those driving to the trailhead, there are two parking areas available, one located right at the start of the trail and another 5.954 kilometers away. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging but rewarding hike to Hochblasse.
