This hike will take you along the beautiful Bergstraße area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 10.512 kilometers with an elevation gain of 943 meters, making it a difficult hike.

As you embark on your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, only 3.66 kilometers from the starting point, you'll find the Schockalm restaurant where you can fuel up before your hike. Further along at 4.48 kilometers, there is an information point for tourists to learn more about the area.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.26 kilometers, you'll reach a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, at 4.92 kilometers, you'll pass by the Barastlscharte saddle, adding a unique touch to your hike.
