This extremely difficult 12.3-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Quadro area. The trail starts at a parking area and quickly leads you to I Lagoni, with the beautiful Lago Gemio Inferiore just a short distance from the trail.

As you continue on, you will pass by Rifugio Lagoni, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Along the way, you will also encounter Bivacco pian del Monte and Bivacco Pian del Monte shelters, providing options for resting and taking in the views.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peaks of Monte Quadro and Groppo Fosco, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area. You will also come across drinking water sources and informational points providing insights about the surroundings.
