Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Bocco!
This moderate 4.829-kilometer trail will take you on an out-and-back journey with an elevation gain of 414 meters. The estimated duration of this hike is 2 hours and 9 minutes.
Located in a picturesque area, this trail offers stunning views and a chance to connect with nature. Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Around 0.04 kilometers from the start, you'll find a water source where you can refill your water bottle.
Continuing on, at around 0.11 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Rifugio Albergo Prato Spilla alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, there's also the Punta di Spilla attraction with forest acrobatic paths.
Further along the trail at 0.42 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Prato Spilla Pista information point. As you progress, at 1.75 kilometers from the start, there is another information point providing details about the area.
Midway through the hike, at 1.95 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Foce Banciola saddle, offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
The trail culminates at the peak of Monte Bocco, situated at 2.41 kilometers from the start. From here, you can admire the breathtaking vistas before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
