This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Almbodensteg, offering stunning views and a challenging hike. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.029 kilometers and an elevation gain of 512 meters, making it a difficult trail.

As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area and a water source just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning. After around 0.13 kilometers, you will come across the Neunkirchner Hütte alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Further along the trail at 1.99 kilometers, you will find another water source, followed by additional water sources at 2.01 kilometers. At 0.35 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the area. Additionally, at 0.51 kilometers, you will encounter the Eselsbachfall waterfall, a picturesque spot on the route.

Along the way, you will also come across the Hölzerhütte restaurant at 0.12 kilometers and various informational points and benches for resting and taking in the scenery.
