This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through the scenic Almbodensteg area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The 14.257-kilometer out-and-back trail begins at the Almbodensteg destination.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Amboßlacke, a beautiful water feature just 3.83 kilometers from the start. As you continue the hike, be sure to stop by the Eselsbachfall waterfall, located 1.05 kilometers from the start.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across multiple water sources, benches for resting, and informational points to learn more about the area. The trail offers a total elevation gain of 1246 meters, so be prepared for steep inclines and challenging terrain.
