This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Kal peak. The trail is a challenging out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.128 kilometers and an elevation gain of 506 meters.

Starting at the parking area at Planina Zapleč, you will begin your ascent towards Kal peak. Along the way, you will pass by a drinking water source at 0.51 kilometers from the start, so make sure to refill your water bottle before continuing on the trail.

As you make your way up the trail, you will encounter an information point at 0.02 kilometers from the start, where you can learn more about the area and its flora and fauna. Further along the trail, at 0.63 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point to enhance your hiking experience.

The highlight of the hike is reaching Kal peak at 3.56 kilometers from the start. Take in the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes before heading back the way you came.

Please note that this is a difficult hike due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure to come prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks. It's also a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.
