This hiking route is located in a picturesque area with a variety of points of interest to explore along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at AS 5 - AS 5.

As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area (FV 1921 Vilseck) right at the trailhead where you can leave your vehicle. From here, the trail leads you through a scenic path with gentle terrain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

About 0.37 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a water source, providing a refreshing stop for a drink or to refill your water bottle. Further along the trail, at about 0.52 kilometers, there is a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.

As you continue your journey, you will pass by a barbecue area (BBQ) at approximately 0.52 kilometers, perfect for having a picnic and relaxing amidst nature. Additionally, there is a bench (bench) at around 0.24 kilometers from the start where you can rest and take in the beauty of the surroundings.

For history enthusiasts, there are two castles, Burg Dagestein and Dagestein, located at distances of 0.46 kilometers and 0.46 kilometers respectively from the beginning of the trail. These historic sites offer a glimpse into the past and are worth a visit during your hike.

Throughout the route, you will also encounter several more water sources, each providing a tranquil spot to pause and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the area.

With a total distance of 2.247 kilometers and no significant elevation gain, this hike is classified as easy, making it perfect for a leisurely outdoor adventure.
