This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with easy terrain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at AS 5 - AS 5.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by FV 1921 Vilseck parking area, which is conveniently located at the start of the trail. Further along the trail, at the beginning, you will find a few water sources where you can refill your bottles. These are located approximately 0.37 to 0.53 kilometers from the starting point.
Midway through the hike, you will come across a BBQ spot, perfect for a pit stop and enjoying a meal in nature. A shelter is also available around this point, providing a resting place for hikers. Additionally, there are benches located 0.24 kilometers from the start, offering a nice spot to take in the surrounding views.
As you continue along the trail, you will have the opportunity to visit Burg Dagestein, a historic castle located 0.46 kilometers from the start. This makes for a great cultural stop during your hike.
