This challenging hiking route at Isterbegi offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Urkiaga parking area at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, keep an eye out for informative signs about the area at the Urkiaga and GR11 information points, both located near the start of the hike.
Around 1.58 kilometers from the start, you will find the Dolmen Esnezelaieta archaeological site, slightly off the trail. This ancient landmark provides a glimpse into the area's history and is worth a visit if you have the time.
Further along the route, at about 3.63 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Mugarrien boundary stone, marking an important point along the trail.
