This hiking route will take you through the scenic area of Harluxe. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 11.023 kilometers and an elevation gain of 243 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge your endurance.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Benta Baztan, a cafe where you can grab a quick bite before starting your hike. Further along the trail, about 3.64 kilometers from the start, you will reach Ehiztarien Borda, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Continuing on, you will encounter several historic sites such as boundary stones and dolmens. These archaeological sites, including Mugarrien 130. zenbakia and Dolmen Autrin, provide a glimpse into the area's rich history and culture.
Midway through the hike, at around 5.51 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Harluxe, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, as you make your way back, you can visit Menhir Autrin, another significant archaeological site located about 4.31 kilometers from the start.
