This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Okoro area. The trail spans a total distance of 8.28 kilometers with an elevation gain of 363 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding adventure.

As you embark on this out-and-back journey, you'll encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll come across the "Urkiaga" information point, providing valuable insights into the area. Further along, around the 2.3 kilometer mark, you'll find the "Zaguako etxola" shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing on, at approximately 3.3 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the "Artsalgo Gaina" peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding region. As you approach the 4.14 kilometer point, you'll encounter the "Okoro" peak, a must-see highlight of the trail.

Midway through the hike, at around 2.62 kilometers, you'll come across the "Cromlechs Otarra Bizkarra 1-3", an archaeological site adding a historical touch to your journey. Additionally, at 2.87 kilometers, you'll reach the "Otarrabizkarrako lepoa" saddle, providing a serene spot to rest and take in the beauty of the area.

For those interested in history, the "Túmulo Ernazabal Lepoko Bidea" archaeological site near the 2.28 kilometer mark offers a glimpse into the past. Further ahead, at 2.94 kilometers, you'll find the "Túmulo Otarra Bizkarra Lepoa" site, adding to the cultural richness of the trail.

It's important to be prepared for this challenging hike by bringing an ample water supply, wearing sturdy hiking boots, and checking the weather forecast beforehand. The entire journey is expected to take around 2 hours and 49 minutes to complete.
