This challenging 8.28-kilometer out-and-back hiking route in the Okoro area offers stunning views and rich historical sites along the way. The trail begins at a parking area, where you can find informational signs about the surrounding area like Urkiaga. As you start your journey, you will pass by the Zaguako etxola shelter, providing a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the scenery just 1.95 kilometers from the start.

Continuing on, at around 2.3 kilometers, you will come across an information point offering insights into the area's history. Further along the trail at 2.62 kilometers, you'll encounter the Cromlechs Otarra Bizkarra archaeological site, adding a touch of ancient allure to your hike.

As you progress, the trail leads you to the Túmulo Ernazabal Lepoko Bidea archaeological site at 2.28 kilometers, followed by the Cromlech Otarra Bizkarra Lepoa 1 site at 2.94 kilometers. These historical sites enhance the cultural experience of your hike.

At 3.3 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Artsalgo Gaina, offering panoramic views of the surroundings. The challenging elevation gain of 363 meters adds to the adventure of reaching this point. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you before proceeding.
