Hiking : Soum de Granquet

This extremely difficult circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Soum de Granquet area. The trail covers a distance of 15.492 kilometers with an elevation gain of 838 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding experience.

As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across Col de Couraduque, a scenic saddle point offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area.

Around the midway point, you can take a break at Le Couraduque restaurant, which offers wheelchair accessibility. Continuing on, you will reach the peak of Soum de Granquet, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains.

On the way back, you will pass by Col de Spandelles and Col d'Ansan, two more saddle points adding to the beauty of the hike. Additionally, there is an information point along the trail that provides further insights into the area.

Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as this challenging hike will take approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes to complete.
