This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route covers a distance of 18.886 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1287 meters, taking approximately 7 hours and 35 minutes to complete. The trail starts at a parking area located at the beginning of the route.

As you embark on the journey, you will pass by the picturesque Pic du Cabaliros peak around the 8.9 kilometer mark. This natural beauty offers a stunning backdrop to your hike. Further along the trail, at about 7.25 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Col de Contente saddle, providing a perfect spot to catch your breath and admire the surrounding views.
