Located in the stunning Monte Butegna region, this challenging 8.289-kilometer circular hiking route offers breathtaking views and diverse points of interest along the way.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, hikers will first encounter the refreshing Torrente Geirato, just 0.07 kilometers from the start. This natural water feature provides a serene setting to pause and take in the surrounding beauty.

Continuing on, at around 0.97 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a drinking water source to refill your supplies. It's always important to stay hydrated during a long and strenuous hike.

As the trail progresses, at 2.81 kilometers, the peak known as Pizzo presents itself for a challenging yet rewarding ascent. The elevation gain of 474 meters will test your endurance, but the panoramic views from the top make it all worthwhile.

Further along the route, at the 4.02-kilometer mark, the impressive Monte Butegna peak awaits. This is a must-see highlight of the hike, offering a sense of accomplishment and awe-inspiring vistas of the surrounding landscape.

Towards the end of the journey, approximately 0.55 kilometers from the finish, the artwork installation of Papa Giovanni XXIII adds a touch of cultural interest to the natural beauty of the area.
