This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Pic de Cagire area, offering breathtaking views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 8.729 kilometers and an elevation gain of 921 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across La Couage parking area, which serves as the trailhead for the adventure ahead. Along the trail, you will pass by an information point and a picnic site, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Cabane de Juzet, a wilderness hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your ascent towards the peak. The hut is located approximately 1.76 kilometers from the start of the trail, providing a convenient spot for hikers to take a break.
