This hike will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Vanil Noir. The trail is 9.341 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1030 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 44 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area before reaching Lac de Coudré, a picturesque lake located 0.7 kilometers from the start of the trail. Midway through the hike, at 1.94 kilometers from the start, you will come across Cabane Bounavaux, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
As you continue on, you will encounter another water feature at 2.72 kilometers from the start, followed by another one at 2.81 kilometers. These spots are perfect for refilling your water bottles and taking in the natural beauty of the area.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the summit of Vanil Noir, a peak located 4.67 kilometers from the start of the trail. The panoramic views from the top are simply breathtaking and definitely worth the effort it took to get there.
It's important to remember to bring plenty of water, as this is a long and challenging hike.
