Welcome to the hiking route to Lac des Anges! This beautiful area offers a moderate 6.204-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 324 meters, perfect for a rewarding outdoor adventure.
Starting at the parking lot near the trailhead, hikers will embark on an out-and-back journey that will lead them through picturesque landscapes and stunning views. Along the way, you will encounter various Points of Interest (POIs) that add to the overall experience.
At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a convenient parking area with a fee. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by a restaurant called Restaurant d’Altitude “Les Anges”, located approximately 2.53 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing your trek.
About midway through the hike, you will find a refreshing drinking water station just 0.08 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect opportunity to hydrate and rest before the final stretch to Lac des Anges.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Lac des Anges, located 3.1 kilometers from the trailhead. This stunning alpine lake is a great spot to relax, take in the surrounding natural beauty, and maybe even have a picnic.
As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to keep an eye out for the various parking areas along the trail. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure. Enjoy your hike to Lac des Anges!
