This extremely difficult 13.6-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Tuc dera Gireta in Andorra. The trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1117 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 56 minutes to complete.
Starting at Casa Vall de Montgarri, you will begin your journey with a visit to the information point situated just 0.32 kilometers from the start. Make sure to stop here to gather any last-minute details about the trail. As you continue, you'll come across Refugi Amics de Montgarri at the 0.32-kilometer mark, where you can rest and refuel before the real climb begins.
Moving onward, you'll encounter various peaks along the way, including a saddle at 6.45 kilometers and peaks at 4.43, 4.91, 5.33, and 6.45 kilometers from the start. Each spot offers a unique view of the surrounding landscape, making the challenging trek well worth it. Remember to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the journey, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out.
The trail also includes a water source located 4.55 kilometers from the start, perfect for filling up your bottles and staying refreshed. Finally, as you make your way back, you'll pass by the parking area at the beginning of the trail, marking the end of your unforgettable hiking experience in Andorra.
