Hiking : Carrefour du Pas du Sant

This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Carrefour du Pas du Sant. The 12.482-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 301 meters and is estimated to take approximately 3 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before embarking on your adventure. About 6.09 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a water source, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated.

Further along the trail, at around 3.7 kilometers from the start, you will find the Croix-des-Fangasse shelter, which can offer a resting spot for tired hikers or a place to enjoy a snack while taking in the surrounding scenery. Additionally, at the beginning of the route, you will encounter the historic Wayside Cross known as Croix des Fangasses, adding a touch of local history to your hike.

Approximately 4.82 kilometers from the start, you will reach Fontaine du Rieu Grand spring, where you can freshen up and enjoy a refreshing break before continuing your journey. Lastly, at 3.71 kilometers into the hike, you will spot another historic Wayside Cross called Croix des Fangasses, adding cultural interest to your outdoor experience.
