This hiking route takes you through a stunning area with diverse landscapes and beautiful natural features. Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey along the trail, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature. As you make your way, you will come across several points of interest.

At the beginning of the hike, you will encounter the historic wayside cross, Croix-des-Fangasse, a beautiful monument that adds a touch of history to your adventure. Further along the trail, around the 6.23 km mark, you will find a series of natural water sources, providing a refreshing stop for hikers to rest and rehydrate.

Midway through the route, at approximately 7.19 km, you will come across another water feature, offering a picturesque spot to take in the surroundings and maybe even dip your toes in the crystal-clear water. Continuing on, at 4.82 km into the hike, you will reach Fontaine du Rieu Grand, a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply.

Towards the end of the journey, at 3.7 km from the start, you will encounter another historic wayside cross, Croix des Fangasses, adding a cultural element to your outdoor experience. Throughout the 15.644 km circular route, you will also have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking scenery and maybe even spot some local wildlife.

This hike is classified as extremely difficult due to its length of 15.644 km and elevation gain of 470.0 meters. It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sturdy hiking shoes.
