Welcome to the hiking route to Großes Rothorn, an extremely difficult trail renowned for its stunning views and challenging terrain.

The trail starts at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this 12.068 km journey with an elevation gain of 1504 meters. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take approximately 6 hours and 33 minutes to complete.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along, you will encounter the Seehorn peak at 4.25 km from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Midway through your journey, you will come across the Großes Rothorn peak at 6.03 km from the start. This is a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking vistas and capture some amazing photos. As you continue on, the trail will lead you to the Schaflegg peak at 4.85 km from the start, followed by the Heimkehrerkreuz peak at 3.79 km from the start.
