This extremely difficult hike will take you on a 13.691-kilometer circular route through the stunning Loma de Pandasco area. The trail begins at a convenient parking area and leads you through challenging terrain with a total elevation gain of 718 meters. It is recommended to allocate around 4 hours and 57 minutes for this hike.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. About 4.39 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic peak of Cabeza de Hierro Mayor, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. As you continue on, at approximately 0.59 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the serene Poza de Sócrates, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

Midway through the hike, around 5.37 kilometers from the start, you will find the Vivac Peña Vaqueros shelter, providing a good resting spot and shelter if needed. Additionally, at 6.35 kilometers from the start lies another peak, Loma de Pandasco, with more opportunities for stunning views.
