This extremely difficult 13.539-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning alpine terrain near the Refuge Temple-Écrins. The trail starts at a parking area, just 3.29 meters away from the trailhead.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Chalet Alpin de la Bérarde, located just 120.87 meters from the start. This alpine hut offers a cozy retreat for hikers in the area. Further along the trail, about 3.72 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Refuge du Carrelet, another alpine hut offering a place to rest and recharge.
Around the midway point of the hike, approximately 6.53 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the Refuge Temple-Écrins. This refuge provides a picturesque setting for a break before continuing on your adventure.
