This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route covers a distance of 18.169 kilometers with an elevation gain of 967.0 meters, taking approximately 6 hours and 37 minutes to complete. Along the way, hikers will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area for convenience. As you progress further, you will come across the historic Chapelle des Buronniers, located 4.03 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, La Chaumière du Granier, a tourist attraction, can be found 0.26 kilometers into the hike, followed by the Four à Pain shelter at 0.19 kilometers.

One of the highlights of the hike is the stunning Cascade du Capat waterfall, situated 9.08 kilometers from the starting point.
