This hiking route takes you through the stunning Freundalm area, offering breathtaking views and a moderate challenge. The trail covers a distance of approximately 5.233 kilometers with an elevation gain of 465 meters, making it a perfect option for an outdoor adventure.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Freundalm restaurant situated at around 2.62 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to enjoy a meal or refreshments before continuing your journey. Continuing on, at the same distance marker, you will find a natural water source for a quick refill.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.81 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a lovely picnic site and the Witwen-Brünnele spring for a serene break amidst nature. Additionally, at 2.15 kilometers from the start, there is an information point providing insight into the area's history and landmarks.

On your way back, you will pass by a drinking water station conveniently located 0.01 kilometers from the trail, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your hike. As you near the trailhead, just at the beginning, there is another drinking water point available for your convenience.
