Hiking : Innere Ochsenalm

This challenging hike will take you to the beautiful area of Innere Ochsenalm, known for its stunning natural landscapes. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 11.027 kilometers with an elevation gain of 931 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. Approximately 3.83 kilometers from the start, you will find the Ochsenalm restaurant, a perfect spot to refuel and enjoy a meal. Moving further along, at around 5.4 kilometers, there is a water source located right on the trail for you to hydrate.

Continuing on, at 5.21 kilometers, you will find another water source slightly off the trail. At 5.51 kilometers, the trail leads to Ochsenscharte, a beautiful saddle to take in the panoramic views.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter picnic sites, springs, information points, and drinking water facilities to make your journey more comfortable. Remember to bring an adequate water supply, check the weather forecast before heading out, and wear appropriate hiking gear.

As you reach the midway point and start making your way back, take a moment to rest at the benches located at 4.41 kilometers for a breather. Make sure to visit the various information points along the trail to learn more about the area's history and geology.
