This challenging hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to Rifugio Dolomieu al Dolada in the beautiful area of Località Carota. The trail spans a distance of 7.676 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 635 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. Approximately 0.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area followed by Col Nut information point located at 3.23 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, at 1.53 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Marcaia information point. As you continue, Part del Sass de la Polenta information point will greet you at 2.77 kilometers from the start, offering valuable insights about the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the alpine hut Rifugio Dolomieu al Dolada, located at 3.84 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to take a break, refuel, and enjoy the breathtaking views before heading back on the trail.

Along the way back, you can stop by other points of interest such as Pian de Guera Bas information point at 3.72 kilometers from the start and La Polsa information point at 1.97 kilometers from the start.
