This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning area around Col Nudo. The trail spans a distance of 9.062 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1455 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Col Nudo peak, a magnificent natural landmark located 4.53 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, you will find a shelter at the starting point, providing a convenient resting spot before your ascent.
During your hike, be sure to visit the spring located 1.13 kilometers from the start, offering a refreshing break along the way. As you continue, the trail will lead you to the peaks of Cima Lastei, Cima di Pala di Castello, and Col di Piero, each offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
At the midway point, you will reach Passo di Valbona, a saddle point that marks the turning point of your out-and-back journey. Make a stop at Ricovero Col Nudo, a shelter located 3.67 kilometers from the start, to recharge before heading back.
