This extremely difficult 16.043 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Monte Pietroso.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by a campsite about 0.33 km from the trail. Make sure to check it out if you plan on staying overnight in the area.
At the starting point, there are parking options available within close proximity to the trail, making it convenient for hikers to park their vehicles.
Around 5.99 km into the hike, you will come across the Rifugio di Monte Tranquillo, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
As you continue on, approximately 7.53 km from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Pietroso. The panoramic views from this vantage point are truly breathtaking and worth the effort it took to get there.
Midway through the hike, at around 6.31 km from the beginning, you will encounter a saddle, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
