This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte della Strega area. The 16.674-kilometer trail features a challenging elevation gain of 723.0 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 40 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across a campsite located 0.33 kilometers from the trail. Further along the path, there are two parking areas at the beginning of the route to conveniently leave your vehicle.
Around the midway point of the trail, at approximately 5.99 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Rifugio di Monte Tranquillo, an alpine hut for a possible rest stop or overnight stay. Moving ahead, at 7.54 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the picturesque peak of Monte Pietroso, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, at 8.34 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Monte della Strega, the final destination of the hike. This peak is known for its beauty and may require some extra effort to reach the top. Additionally, at 6.31 kilometers from the start, there is a saddle located along the trail for you to explore.
