This extremely difficult 11.39-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Mittagskogel peak. The trail has an elevation gain of 1392 meters and is estimated to take around 6 hours to complete.
Starting from the parking area with limited wheelchair accessibility, you will embark on a challenging journey towards Mittagskogel. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. About 0.22 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Hotel Restaurant Berghof Steinbock, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Further up the trail, at around 5.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic Mittagskogel peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty.
As you continue your hike, at about 5.32 kilometers from the start, you will pass by a saddle, adding to the scenic beauty of the route. Additionally, around 0.28 kilometers from the start, you will find the WNDRLX restaurant, offering a perfect spot to refuel and refresh before heading back.
