This hiking route takes you through a beautiful and challenging terrain, offering stunning views and natural landmarks along the way.

Starting from the trailhead, you will encounter a picturesque picnic site just 18 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to rest and enjoy some snacks before continuing your journey. As you hike further, you will come across a water source approximately 1.48 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing opportunity to refill your water bottles.

At around 3.75 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter two spring locations within close proximity to each other. These springs, known as Fuente de la Umbría and Fuente del Cogorzal, offer a serene setting to take a break and admire the surrounding nature.

Continuing on the trail, at 6.65 kilometers, you will reach the first peak, offering panoramic views of the landscape. This peak is followed by another peak at 6.85 kilometers, known as "Me", providing a perfect vantage point to appreciate the rugged beauty of the area.

Further along the route, you will come across Collado de Cuartos, a saddle point, at 6.85 kilometers. This location offers a unique perspective of the terrain and is a great place to pause and take in the surroundings.

As you near the end of the hike, at 5.53 kilometers, you will reach Portillo del Cogorzal, another saddle point that marks a significant landmark on the trail. This spot provides a memorable view and is ideal for capturing photos.

Throughout the journey, be prepared for an extremely difficult hike with a total distance of 13.696 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1015 meters. It is crucial to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
