This hiking route takes you through a challenging and extremely difficult trail in the beautiful area around El Plateau. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 12.529 kilometers and an elevation gain of 782 meters, so make sure to be prepared for a strenuous hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across Centro de Información Ambiental, a great place to gather some environmental information just 2.1 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will pass by Zona Arqueologica Piedras Tacitas Morteros Comunitarios, an archaeological site filled with history and culture, located 2.61 kilometers from the beginning.
