This hiking route takes you through the stunning Portezuelo area, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail spans a total distance of 14.553 kilometers with an elevation gain of 999.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and skills.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Centro de Información Ambiental, a great spot to learn about the local environment just 2.1 kilometers into the hike. Continuing on, you will reach the Zona Arqueologica Piedras Tacitas Morteros Comunitarios at 2.61 kilometers, where you can explore ancient archaeological sites.
Midway through the hike at 6.26 kilometers, you will encounter the El Plateau viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. As you approach the 7.28 kilometer mark, you will reach the Portezuelo viewpoint, a perfect place to take in the beauty of the area.
