Welcome to the Route de Neffiès hiking trail! This picturesque route offers a 2.982-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 141 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting off, you will come across the Château de Castellas, a historic castle located 0.26 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue along the path, you will reach the Col des Trois Pierriers, a natural saddle at the 0.98-kilometer mark.
Along the way, you will also encounter various points of interest, including the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption artwork, the Calvaire wayside cross, and several viewpoints offering breathtaking scenery. Be sure to take a moment to rest at the benches strategically placed along the trail, some closer to the start and others further away.
For a refreshing break, there is a drinking water station conveniently located at the 0.0-kilometer mark. Additionally, there are parking spaces available near the trailhead, with wheelchair accessibility for added convenience.
As you reach the midway point, you will find yourself at Le Pioch, a natural peak with stunning panoramic views. From here, you can choose to retrace your steps back to the starting point, enjoying the sights and sounds of the route once again.
