Approximately 2.01 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a picturesque viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at 0.01 kilometers, you will come across a charming fountain where you can take a break and refresh yourself.
For history enthusiasts, the Ermitage Saint-Jean d’Aureillan ruins at 2.24 kilometers into the hike offer a glimpse into the past. Additionally, the Calvaire wayside crosses and the Statue de la Vierge artwork provide cultural points of interest along the trail.
As you continue your trek, you will find several benches scattered throughout the trail, offering perfect spots to rest and take in the peaceful surroundings. Remember to stay hydrated and bring plenty of water, especially on warmer days.
At approximately 1.14 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Grotte de Liausson cave entrance, adding a touch of adventure to your hike. Just a bit further along, at 2.11 kilometers, you will find the Baume Nègre cave entrance, a unique feature for nature lovers to explore.
