Welcome to the GR1 hiking route in a beautiful natural area with stunning views and challenging terrain. This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 8.852 kilometers with an elevation gain of 310 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across a water source at 1.21 kilometers from the trailhead, allowing you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated throughout your hike. Just a short distance from the start, at 0.0 kilometers, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail.

Further along the route, at 0.86 kilometers from the start, another water source is available for your convenience. Additionally, at 0.1 kilometers from the trailhead, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its attractions.

As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at 4.3 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another information point providing valuable insights into the surroundings. Continuing on, at 4.43 kilometers from the trailhead, you will reach a peak offering panoramic views of the landscape, a perfect spot for a well-deserved rest and photo opportunity.

Towards the end of the trail, at 3.52 kilometers from the start, you will discover an archaeological site featuring ancient rock paintings, adding a touch of history to your outdoor adventure. Finally, if you're feeling hungry after the hike, a restaurant named Mesón Valderejo is located at the trailhead, where you can enjoy a delicious meal to refuel your energy.
