This challenging circular hike to Recuenco (Lerón) offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The starting point is near a parking area, making it convenient for hikers. Before embarking on the journey, be sure to bring plenty of water, as the trail is almost 10 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 309 meters.
As you start the hike, you'll come across an information point providing details about the area. About 100 meters away, there is a drinking water source perfect for refilling your bottles. Further along the trail, you'll encounter a peek named Recuenco (Lerón), offering a picturesque viewpoint at around the 4.5-kilometer mark.
Throughout the hike, you'll pass by a restaurant called Mesón Valderejo, where you can take a break and refuel before continuing onward. Along the trail, you'll also find archaeological sites and rock paintings, adding a historical element to your outdoor adventure.
As you approach the end of the hike, with about 3.5 kilometers remaining, a signage post named "poste" will guide you on the way back. Near the end of the trail, at the 4.3-kilometer mark, you'll find another peak to admire before completing the loop.
